MECHANICS SPECIAL UPDATE: PRICE REDUCED TO $2500 IT STARTS, RUNS AND DRIVES. HOWEVER , NO COMPRESSION ON # 5 CYLINDER. TO INSURE NO FURTHER ENGINE DAMAGE COULD POSSIBLY OCCUR FROM DRIVING, IT NEEDS TO BE TOWED. Recently, I had a misfire code. Replaced coil packs and plugs but still has the misfire code. For safety, I had the truck towed to a repair shop. A leak down test was done and # 5 cylinder has no compression. The minimal repair was to have the driver's side cylinder head reconditioned. Mechanic said the valve was burned, but it could be burned or severely fouled, or could be a broken spring.The good is that there isn't any white smoke upon startup, and no clatter. Upon inspection at the shop, there weren't any fragments or scarring on the cylinder wall. I had the transmission rebuilt in October of 2024 and only has only has 1,453 miles on it. So the value of the transmission alone is at least worth what I am asking.The repair was to have the driver's side head redone. PROS: New rebuilt transmission ( 1,453 miles) New battery New front tires New front upper control arms w/ball joints, sway bar, inner tie rods and tie rod ends, lower ball joints, sway bar links New front brake calipers and brake pads Interior in good shape heater and AC work well CONS: - After market push button horn (installed because of bad clock spring on steering wheel (about $200 to fix) -windshield has cracks, (but no known leaks) -Engine misfire
