Read on to understand what a ''Silver Certified'' truck is. For transparent, convenient shopping we classify each of our pre-owned vehicles into 1 of 4 tiers: Gold Certified, Silver Certified, Bronze Certified, and Backlot Certified. The overall goal of this program is to provide a simple, efficient purchase experience. To be Gold Certified, a vehicle must exceed PA's minimum safety standards by a significant margin. In addition, it must have matching name-brand tires with at least 50% tread remaining, as well as clean brake rotor surfaces with at least 50% pad life remaining. All systems must pass a full functionality test and no drivability issues may be present. All factory recommended services must be performed by one of our technicians. Further, the Carfax History Report may have no negative comments. And notably, its cosmetic condition must be virtually perfect inside and out. If the vehicle passes all of this criteria, it is ''Gold Certified''. A Silver Certified vehicle is very similar. However it may have some minor blemishes that can be seen when performing a close-up inspection. In addition, a few minor Carfax issues may be present.
