This has been my daily driver for the past six months while I'm waiting for the engine on my Tacoma to get rebuilt. So if there are any concerns about if/how it drives I can tell you unequivocally that it drives perfectly. Low miles for a 2007 (about 10k a year). Brakes and shocks are great, and it drives incredibly smooth. I'm an part time mechanic myself, so I'm more than happy to outline the repairs that I have done , as well as the repairs that have been completed by other professionals. Here's a list of what has been fixed mechanically over the past 4 months, as well as the non mechanical issues that I fixed myself. MECHANICAL FIXES 1. Replaced both upper and lower transmission filters 2. Flushed, drained and refilled transmission fluid 3. Brand new starter motor 4. Brand new upper radiator hose with cap 5. New air filter 6. Oil change and oil filter 7. Brand new battery 8. Replaced washer fluid reservoir 9. Windshield sprayers on both sides replaced NON-MECHANICAL FIXES AND PURCHASES 1. Brand new registration and smog 2. New apple car play head unit and front speakers 3. New dash unit to fit car play system 4. Drivers side taillight housing replaced 5. Passenger side front turn signal housing replaced 6. Headlights were sanded, cleared and polished 7. Floor mats cut to fit drivers and passenger side. I'm being as transparent about all of these things as possible because I know how important it is to have a safe and reliable vehicle. So based on my somewhat expert opinion here's a list of things that need to be addressed sometime in the future whenever convenient. 1. AC Compressor needs to be replaced. 2. Tires should be replaced in the next 2000 miles. 3. Half a quart of oil needs to be added to engine monthly. Title in hand, cash or cashiers check only. Any other questions feel free to ask!
