I've owned this car for 15 years and maintained with the mindset of someone who planned to keep it indefinitely. I'm a mechanic and have been working on cars most of my life (I'm 44 now). I have taken great care in maintaining this M3 and have treated it like a restoration project. My goal was always OEM reliability and feel, essentially returning the car toward what it felt like new. Because I do all the work myself, there are no traditional service records, but I am compiling a folder of parts receipts that will be included with the sale. Email me for maintenance and restoration details as space is limited here. The car starts easy, idles smooth and pulls strong. Recent compression (195-200psi across the board) and leak down numbers are good. Extensive suspension overhaul + interior/exterior refresh just completed. I am the 3rd owner. I've owned the car since 2010 (purchased at 165,000mi). 2nd owner was a golf instructor in Pasadena. Original owner commuted about 200mi (highway) for work everyday. So yes, clock is high but out of the dozens of M3's I inspected back then it was by far best cared for and drove better than cars with half the miles. Completely stock, adult owned CA car its whole life. Never tracked/raced. No rust. No accidents. Clean title. Passes CA smog. I'm a middle-aged man with a wife and 2 young daughters. My time is precious to me. I can assure you of 100% honesty and transparency in all information about the car.
