Dodge Grand Caravan R/T Handicap / Mobility Van Cashmere Sandstone Pearl Coat Exterior Black Leather Interior 3.6L V6 Engine 6 Speed Automatic Transmission 3-Zone Automatic Climate Control Power Windows, Mirrors, Seats Heated Front Seats and Steering Wheel The new Original Equipment Manufacture (OEM) vehicle was converted to a wheelchair / handicap / mobility vehicle by BraunAbility. The conversion includes a passenger side sliding door ramp that automatically deploys. In addition, the driver's seat is mounted on a specially designed powered mechanism so that it can move / pivot / rotate into the passenger compartment. This allows the driver to transfer from their [wheelchair] into the driver's seat, and then move into the driver's position to drive the van. This van is also equipped with an auxiliary hand brake lever that allows the driver to brake by hand and/or foot. The van has seating for five passengers: in front for the driver and passenger, and rear seating for up to 3 more passengers. Rear seats can be reconfigured for more storage space. Recent maintenance performed by a professional shop includes a $2,000 investment on new brake rotors and pads at all 4 wheels, new parts to fix an oil leak (the engine oil filter / cooler mount was replaced a common source of oil leaks like this van had), and replacing the engine oil and oil filter. Receipts for this service will be made available to the buyer. Also, all four Tire Pressure Monitors were replaced with new.
