No accidents; one owner for the last 15 years/160,000 miles. This well-loved, well-used Discovery II has 256,000 miles. It is mechanically sound and is equipped with a factory receiver hitch, trailer wiring, heated front seats (yes, they work), extremely durable leather seating, and original 18 Hurricane wheels. Rear brake pads, brake rotors, and shocks are new; it comes with new spare front pads, rotors, and shocks. We replaced the headliner a few years ago, and it still looks great. It has never required any engine repairsonly accessory replacement (e.g., power steering pump, alternator, and ignition coils). The paint is decent; the body has a few rust spots in the passenger side rear wheel well (visible in the door jamb) and some paint bubbling above the windshield on the passenger side. The sunroofs could use re-sealing (they leak when subjected to an automated car wash), it could use a new muffler, and it is missing a few plastic trim pieces. It is an SE7, but I no longer have the two rear jumpseats (they were useless). The front sunroof switch only works intermittently, and the front passenger door only locks manually. As with most Disco IIs, the 3 Amigos traction control lights are on because of an intermittent rear wheel speed sensor, but I haven't replaced it because it hasn't affected the vehicle's function (the ABS works). This is an original classic that functions well and looks pretty good. Much like an airplane, you can keep a Discovery running indefinitely; parts availability remains excellent (www.roverparts.com has almost every part for this vehicle, including frames!), and parts aren't any more expensive than normal vehicles' parts. I am frequently asked how reliable it has been. My answer is always &quot;shockingly, very.&quot; This Land Rover has treated us very, very well.
