2002 Dodge Ram, 4x4, 6-foot bed (265,000 miles)<br>I purchased this truck new in 2002.  This was the year that Chrysler introduced the 100,000 mile, 6 year warranty -- the first US automaker to do so.   They must have gotten something right because I easily got the first 225,000 miles with hardly any issues.   In the past few years I've replaced the fuel pump, the leaf springs, the power steering pump and lines, among other things.   I recently replaced a sensor in the transmission that allows it to sense that it's in park.  New windshield.  It is in good running shape, and has no problems that I know of.  There are but just a few very small spots of rust.  It does not use much oil and will still do 95 on the freeway no problem -- not that I have ;-)  The check engine light is on, but it has been on for perhaps five years and according to my mechanic, &quot;it's something stupid that will just come back on if we turn it off.&quot;   I'm selling because my family needs a vehicle with more room, higher clearance, and a longer bed -- so we've upgraded.  Experience has proven that this truck will go for a long while and need nothing, and then it's time for some repairs and the cycle continues.   Runs well, drives nice.  Dave from Eldorado Automotive has been my mechanic on this truck, exclusively, since 2005.  He has all the records.
