2011 Chevrolet Impala with 175,000 miles available in Grand Rapids Michigan. It has been a sturdy car for three years I've owned it, but currently would need some TLC to get it back into driving shape. I just got it evaluated and the list of repairs is below. Otherwise it is a good car, and although the milage is high, definitely a good investment for anyone with the know-how or money to spend on it to fix it up. The engine purrs and even after sitting for the better part of the last three months, roars to life immediately. Comes with snow tires already installed into the back and 1 and a half year old tires in the front. Spare tire included as well. Body of the car is in decent condition - some rusting on the bottom (PICTURED), and the passenger side taillight is busted but working (PICTURED), but otherwise inside and out looks good. Heat and a/c work great, engine is also in great condition. Interior is cloth and in good shape, a few stains but no rips. Battery was just recently replaced, wipers were replaced last year. Small crack in base of windsheild. The main issue currently is an issue with the power steering system. I can provide more details as I had the car evaluated on December 3rd. The car is drivable, but the power steering issue causes a whining noise and grinding when driving, but mechanic stated that it was safe to drive. Issues: Rusted through power-steering system - lines/system needs to be fully replaced Rusted front tire rods - needs replacing Worn front brake pads - needs replacing with rotors in the next 3-6 months Back tires(AKA)Snow tires - need replacing in the next 3-6 months Worn front brake pads - recommend replacing pads and rotors in the next 3-6 months
