I am selling my ocean blue metallic 2000 Porsche Boxster. I have bought a Corvette and I don't have enough time to maintain three automobiles. I have owned the car almost six years. In that time I have performed various preventive maintenance tasks and replaced worn out parts myself. Preventative maintenance includes new ignition switch, cleaning radiators, coolant flush, 2 brake flushes, yearly oil changes(new oil filter housing), new middle oil filler tube, new air oil seperator, and cleaned the throttle body. I have also replaced the light switch, ignition coils, spark plugs, spark plug tubes, maf sensor, and dash speakers. I have all the maintance records from the previous owner who spent around $10,000 dollars on the car at a German Automotive Shop. The car drives well and doesn't throw any codes. I have a durametric Porsche diagnostic cable and software that I use. It will be included in the sale. However, there are somethings that need attention. Remember its a 26 year old sports car. The convertible top doesnt work properly. I beleive it needs a new motor(or capacitor). There is a manual over ride you can google that will work until you can get the convertible top motor serviced. Convertible top plastic window is sun damaged. Side mirrors require manual operation. Passenger side door needs a new door lock actuator. The clearcoat on the hood is oxidized and its started to peal on the rear bumper. The clear coat on the sides is still in relatively good condition. I tried to give as much detail about the condition of the car as possible. But I still recommend a pre-purchase inspection for any prospective buyers.
