2011 Touareg - 163k miles - CATA engine. Campanella White/ Interior Cornsilk Beige 2nd owner. Purchased @ 96,566 miles. Clean well-kept and loved Reg. $15k in maintenance in the past year: @ 156k - new turbo, ERG pipe &amp; gaskets, A/C blower motor @ 158k - front brakes @ 159k front differential replaced @ 160k - new battery, transmission service, differential fluid, power steering fluid &amp; o-ring, serpentine belt &amp; tensioner roller, transfer case service, &amp; oil change/filter. @ 161k - new Michelin Latitude Tour HP This model year was supposed to have the backup camera, however due to shortage of parts this car was sold without it. I find the parking sensors to be much more useful anyway. 2 wheels have curb rash &amp; 4 wheels are etched due to not being cleaned as often as they should, all prior to my ownership. Door ding on front driver fender &amp; a couple other paint chip dings... just not cool people! (see pictures). Reason for selling: 1) Gas prices in So CA. 2) Mechanics in So CA no nothing about these wonderful machines. Steering wheel intermittently shimmies at 70 miles. (Runs like a dream below 70) 3 different shops said front diff, brakes or tire issue, not a suspension issue. We have done all the fixes suggested including the road force balance. So far nothing fixed the issue. With the Touareg forums help and my husband finally having time to lift the car we think it's the steering rack bushings. We have the parts for the fix but my husband said it's time to let it go he doesn't have the time to do the work and also doesn't want to pay for the diesel. We are hoping someone who knows these cars will scoop it up this good deal and enjoy the long life this machine still has left in him.
